
Charlene Chapman has used multiple media forms to immerse herself in creative non-fiction. She worked on three documentaries, (one picked up by HBO), authored two screenplays, and two stage plays. She is currently exploring the craft of short story fiction and is in the process of authoring a semi-autobiographical novel. Okay, that’s not Jonathan Delp—that’s the protagonist of his sasquatch anthology fiction series, Stomp Roams (which he publishes on Substack). Jonathan Delp is a poet, novelist, and short story writer, and works as a freelance writer and editor for the film and marine industries. Some of his favorite creations include “Awaiting what the train brings” (Honorable Mention in the 2021 Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest) and The Audio Glow, a blog about musical atmosphere. Ashini J. Desai balances creative writing with a family and a technology career. While she does not write for a living, she writes to live, especially coming from a family of writers and readers. Hayley E. Frerichs grew up in a log cabin nestled in the woods outside of Philadelphia, PA, where she cultivated a love of atmospheric fantasy and romance. She holds degrees in English and education and, following graduation, taught in southern Spain for a year. While she loves to travel, she is also content to stay home with her sewing machine, tea kettle, and books. Her historical fantasy short stories “Nerissa,” “When Water Sings,” “Chant de la Mer,” and “Isle of Fenrir’s Heir” have been published in anthologies and collections by Dandelion Revolution Press, and she is currently querying her adult romantasy novel. She works in marketing in higher education and lives in Bethlehem, PA with her partner and large collection of house plants. Prior to opening her own law office in 1996, Meg Groff was a family law attorney at the Legal Aid program in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, for 12 years. A recognized authority on issues of child custody and domestic violence, Groff has focused on representing victims of abuse and the poor for more than three decades, handling huge caseloads and winning countless cases. Her debut Not If I Can Help It published in March with Rivertowns Books. Groff lives with her husband, a retired carpenter and leather craftsman, and their two dogs. Their daughter Ruth Groff is a professor of political science and philosophy at Saint Louis University.
Paige Gardner is a lover of all things fiction. She enjoys writing novels, flash fiction, short stories, and plays. Paige grew up in a small, unassuming town outside Pittsburgh, graduated from Penn State University, and moved to Bucks County to pursue a career in the nonprofit field. When Paige is not writing, she enjoys performing on stage, volunteering with refugee youth in Philadelphia, or enjoying a drink with close friends. Emily Joyce Honer writes a mixture of dark fantasy, gothic horror, and weird fiction. She earned her BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and works in marketing at Tor Books. Jessica Kaplan enjoys writing flash fiction pieces and short stories. She has a degree in English, and holds a graduate degree in the field of blind rehabilitation. Currently, she is studying to become a teacher of the visually impaired. When she’s not writing or practicing her braille skills, her time is spent befriending neighborhood cats, smelling flowers, and running on the mule path along River Road. She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
James P. W. Martin is a storyteller of many mediums and genres. With a degree in Film Production from Emerson College, he works as a video editor, crafting stories for documentaries and TV series. His self-produced short films have been showcased in film festivals across the country. He writes screenplays, satire, and reviews for The Boundary-Bending Blog, aptly named for his provoking, genre-defying style. James lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where you just might be lucky enough to catch him killing it at karaoke. He is excited to have his first short story published and has big plans for more short- and novel-length stories in the future.


After a career in finance, Bob McCrillis/F.E. Howard (historical romance) turned to his first love, writing. Instead of squeezing his writing in spare time, he now write devotes full-time to the craft. He considers himself a genre writer focused on adventure, and, as F.E. Howard, romance generally featuring powerful women in male-dominated settings. He has published two short story collections and a novel, won several short story contests, and has been published in three online magazines.
He and his wife, Linda, are employed full-time as live-in servants of an exceptionally demanding Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The manse is in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Jules McLaughlin grew up in an old haunted house with a historic pet cemetery outside of Philadelphia, PA. She has always been a writer, though she has chosen to work as a dog trainer and a veterinary technician to help pay the bills. As a reader and writer, Jules is endlessly fascinated by the human ability to tell fantastical tales as an attempt to make sense of the world. She currently lives in Bucks County, PA with her wife and dogs, and–for now–no ghosts. Jules writes science fiction, fantasy, and all things speculative. She is an editor for Dandelion Revolution Press.


Adam J. Newton is the curator and organizer of the Bucks County Writers Group. He made his authorial debut in the 2019 collection of short stories Creaky Stairs, A Book of Dark Truths, contributing seventeen pieces of original fiction to the collection, including: Lilies of the Field, Chong’s Garden, the Better Left Alone series, and The Spring House. The latter was adapted into a short film of the same name by filmmaker Bruce Logan and featured in the Best of Local Haunts Film Festival in October of 2020. Adam lives in Bucks County with his family and beloved Shih Tzu, Minima.
Scarlet Wyvern lives in Bucks County, PA with her young son. Wyvern has had a lifelong passion for storytelling. As a small child, she would often dictate her stories to her mother until she learned to write. Today Wyvern writes mostly poetry and young adult fantasy. Her first poetry book entitled “Massacre My Heart” is being released later this year. Wyvern attends Bucks County Community College where she is pursuing a degree in web design. Her dream is to start a game design company. A self-proclaimed nerd, Wyvern can often be found gushing over Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Supernatural as well as lamenting the early cancelation of Firefly. An avid fan of fantasy, Wyvern can easily be persuaded to read anything featuring dragons or magic. Wyvern is fascinated by mythology, especially that which concerns the fair folk. Wyvern is obsessed with the original Grimm fairytales.
