Celebrate the release of Meg Groff’s debut Not If I Can Help It at Puck Live in Doylestown on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm. Get your copy signed by the author! Her memoir recounts her life and career as lawyer and social advocate who fought to save victims of domestic violence and the poor from abuse and neglect in Bucks County. The memoir is an enthralling account of how the determination and resolve of a single person can change, inspire, and uplift a community one case at a time. The harrowing tales enclosed outline the endless battle against the stacked odds of injustice. It is a beacon of hope in dark times and an example of how doing what’s right is not just a choice but something we should all aspire to.

Our Purpose

Bucks County Writers is a collective of independent writers who gather regularly to discuss the craft of writing as well as one another’s work. Oh, and we write too! The core competencies of the group are to write, give and receive constructive feedback, to learn, and most of all to support one another as we develop our personal skills as writers.
